What are CEU's?

Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is used as a measurement for continuing education programs to assist the professional to maintain their license in their profession. 

What type of Continuing Education is being offered?

CEU's vary from state to state. Check with your licensing board to be sure they accept these specific types of CEUs. 
  • CEU's for Acupuncturists
  • CALIFORNIA ACUPUNCTURE BOARD (CAB)
  • PDA's for NCCAOM 
    • Additionally: typically accept CAB approved courses (link to page on NCCAOM website that states this)

How long should I keep my documents?

All course attendees must retain copies of certificates of completion for up to 4 years in case of audits of random selection of licensees.

Do I have to be a professional to take these courses?

No. You are not required to be a professional to take any of these courses. Many patients, public and people simply interested in learning more about health, wellness, herbs and more, can purchase these courses. 

How do I get CEUs for these courses?

  1. Purchase one of the courses above. 
  2. Once completed answer the questions in the quiz. 
  3. Email jaz@sdherbalmedicine.com tp report steps 1 & 2 are complete and you will receive a Certificate of Completion to keep for your records.

Dr. Jacintha "Jaz" Roemer DACM, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M.A doctoral graduate of Pacific College of Health Science, Dr. Jaz has been teaching courses since 2005. Here she offers online and in-person courses on Meditation, Qigong, Taoism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chi Nei Tsang, Massage/Bodywork and more. Several courses include CEU's for the CA Acupuncture Board and NCCAOM.
